Imagine guiding clients from deep depression to relaxation.

As a certified Suicide Prevention Specialist (SPS), you will know exactly what to say and how to say it, when someone expresses suicidal ideation. Emotional pain releases when it's seen, heard and loved. You will learn to remain present and witness the release.

In this program you are not only learning how to help others, you first learn how to prevent vicarious trauma, empathy fatigue and burnout. I teach you how to implement real-time in session self-care; this allows you to witness deep emotional pain without absorbing it.

Learn these tools and much more...

.

At your own pace you will become proficient using powerful tools to quickly help others release emotional pain and ground themselves in confidence. These tools include body language techniques, verbiage and breathwork to help settle suicidal ideation.

This program teaches you life-saving emotional healing techniques and delivers a proven structure to guide your most anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, and suicidal clients to an empowered place of lasting relief.

Brett's personal journey and experience with suicide prevention.

My story with suicide starts before I was born. When my father was a very young boy my grandmother passed by suicide. This instilled a deep fear of losing love which spawned many other issues that led to my parents divorce when I was 6.

Losing him from my daily life instilled the fear of losing love in me. This later manifested in my relationships with women as jealously - the emotion that ruined my relationships and sparked my healing journey.

In 1999, I went to a spiritual healer and within minutes a cellular memory surfaced from when I was 5. Like watching a movie, I was witnessing my parents argue exactly like me. In that 90 minute session the anger, rage, sadness and fear released from my body and jealousy never ruined another relationship.

This didn't fit into my psychology education, but it happened. Since then I've dedicated my life to personal growth and helping others heal emotional trauma through coaching, meditation, and retreats.

In 2003, I helped my first client overcome her suicidal ideation. We gently surfaced the core fear, expressed all the emotional pain, and the ideation was replaced with wide open inner space and relaxation.

Over the years I approached clients who expressed ideation in the same way and got the same results.

In 2008, I experienced my own suicidal flash-forwards (visual of an attempt) after months of depression upon losing a legal battle that cut to my soul.

In 2015, I published, 3 Keys to Managing PTSD, after my father died and began applying the process with more veterans. In each session I learned more.

In 2019, I partnered with National Veteran Resources during their Mission 22 - 0 tours across the country. I functioned as an on-call suicide prevention specialist helping the most high-risk veterans they met. I continued to learn from each session.

In 2023, an executive from a large veteran service organization asked me create a mindfulness-based suicide prevention protocol and train their vet-to-vet crisis team how to use it.

This had been a dream of mine. I created a flowchart and script illustrating how I was saving lives and the Stress Is Gone Suicide Prevention Protocol was born.

Since then, I have written The Suicide Prevention Family Handbook, and been training all types of mental health professionals and family members of loved ones suffering with depression.

Each week you have 1 Live Training on Friday 12noon ET and 1 Live Office Hours session for Q&A on Thursday 7pm ET (replays available in private facebook group). Throughout your time in the program you will have to complete the Masterclass. Optional programing includes Live SIG Meditations on MWF 9am ET and Live Movement on T/TH 9am ET.

* The more live trainings you attend, the more practice you will have and the more information you will absorb. This impacts your ability to pass the practical exam when you have reached your 40 hours of live training.

Our live calls will take place on Zoom with replays in our private Fb group. You can go through the recorded content at your own pace: the 6-module Masterclass, the manual, and the Meditation-Movement-Training Libraries. In our training calls I will be teaching, opening time for questions, and you'll be practicing the techniques with fellow classmates in breakout rooms healing unresolved issues as you learn. There is live coaching that occurs as needed. Office hours will be an open Q&A session.

This program is at your own pace. If you just want the tools and to get a few key questions answered, you can stay in the program for 1 to 2 months. If you want to be certified and attend all the training & QA sessions you can be ready to pass your practical exam after 5 months in the program if you have attended 1+ live meditation or movement sessions each week to meet the 40+ hours requirment. We will take days/weeks off from time to time when I am leading retreats, during holidays, traveling for speaking engagements, etc.

Yes! This is one of the many things that set me apart from other teachers ~ your access. There will be office hours every Thursday where you can ask me anything and get the support you desire. You can also get support in our private FaceBook Group. If you would like 1-on-1 coaching or training from me, you will have a 50% discount on all 1-on-1 coaching programs for 1-year upon entering the program.

This is a month to month program. You can cancel at any time but there is no refund. If you want to pause you can cancel at anytime and re-enroll when you are ready.

After you have completed 40 hours of live training with me you will be ready to schedule your practical exam. The purpose is to demonstrate your ability to use the SIG Suicide Prevention Protocol in a live situation. Once you pass your exam you'll receive your certification within one week. If you do not pass you study and reschedule your exam when you are ready for a $99 charge.

This is a compassionate human approach to suicide intervention and prevention. Many things set this program apart. To mention a few: (1) Body Language Techniques to disengage defense mechanisms to help people feel safe enough to be vulnerable to share their deepest pains, (2) Real-Time Practitioner Self-Care that is done clandestinely while you conduct your session which prevents you from absorbing any of your clients emotion, (3) 5 Prompts that quickly surface the core issue fueling your clients ideation, (4) Breathwork to release deep emotional pain from the body, and (5) The community-bond are just some of the things that set this program apart.

For those who truly engage; the speed, depth and breadth of your learning, and the effectiveness of the practical skills you develop to help people are all game-changers in this challenging life. Your access to me will be greater than you've had to teachers in most other programs. The personal attention to career growth, as well as the amount of personal growth you experience as you learn the tools will catapult you to a next level in your life.

You will be able to confidently address a variety of situations with your clients. You will be able to help surface the source of your clients' pain that was buried in the depths of the subconscious. You will also be able to gently guide your clients through periods of immense emotional pain to limitless relief by intuitively knowing what to say in any intense situation. Top students with multiple SIG certifications can be listed on our website to serve SIG overflow clients.

It means Stress Is Gone Certifies that you have been trained to use the tools we know to work that help people who are experiencing intense moments of depression and suicidal ideation. While no guarantees can be made regarding outcome, Stress Is Gone stands by this training to be the best we are aware of in the industry.

Yes, you do not have to be a mental health professional currently, to enroll in the program. It may take you a little longer to grasp the concepts and learn the tools, but that is okay. You will be able to successfully help people after this training. Asking a lot of questions in our Office Hours sessions will help you get up to speed quickly.

Both approaches revisit the original traumatic memory. EMDR is an amazing psychotherapy technique that can involve repeatedly revisiting a traumatic memory while a therapist guides the patient through bilateral stimulation movements naturally (such as eye movements or tapping back and fourth) or assisted by technology (using a light bar, headphones, etc) to activate both sides of the brain to re-program the memory so it no longer solely lives in the amygdala which activates the fight-or-flight response when the memory comes to mind.

The S.I.G. Method revisits the memory usually once, doesn't require equipment or technology, and re-programs the memory using pure life-force energy. The coach intuitively surfaces the original traumatic memory fueling the client's stress-anxiety-depression and guides the individual to express all their emotions regarding the original trauma. Once the emotions are fully expressed the coach guides the client through a few mantras to anchor their true identity that has no fear and is completely free. S.I.G. sessions are highly cathartic, requiring the client to feel and express deep emotions, and repeat intuitive mantras to release emotional pain.

The Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) is vital in today's society because so many people are stressed out, feeling traumatized, and can easily be triggered and deeply upset during routine interactions in the healthcare and social services systems. Usually TIC involves three components: (1) realizing trauma is prevalent in our society; (2) recognizing how trauma affects everyone involved in an organization or program; and (3) by putting this knowledge into action. TIC acknowledges the need to understand a patient's life experiences in order to deliver effective care and educates the provider how to improve patient engagement, treatment, and health outcomes. One of the purposes is to not re-traumatize patients during interactions with the provider. In the past patients used to say a doctor or nurse had a good or bad bedside manner. As institutions adopt TIC the patient experience and engagement moves in much more positive and satisfied direction.

The success of the S.I.G. Method is based on the emotional connection and trust between coach and client. The purpose of the S.I.G. approach is to help the client activate, express, and release all the pain at the source of their trauma and replace that space with their true identity. This purpose fundamentally differs with that of TIC, which is to not activate the patient's stress.

TIC is vital for patients to have good experiences in institutions and with professionals who are not highly specialized is helping people heal the emotional pain inside their trauma. While the S.I.G. Method is vital for those moments when a person is ready to face, embrace, and let go of their pain.
