About Us

Stress Is Gone formed in 2008 to provide a self-care solution to reduce the effects of stress-related illnesses. Our preventative model offers mobile, online, and instructional products that deliver year round relief to individuals, families, schools, and corporations. Our members are empowered by increased stress awareness, the ability to instantly relax and most importantly, the skills to release the stress that has accumulated over time. In 2014, Stress Is Gone.org incorporated as a separate 501(c)(3) to assist high-risk demographics and research effective stress relief tools. Stress Is Gone provides the knowledge, guidance, and pathway to transform the impact stress has on our lives. We walk toward our vision of a stress-free humanity by offering affordable relief that works.

Brett Cotter, Stress Is Gone Founder and Author

Brett has 15-years experience in the stress relief field specializing in group facilitation, 1-on-1 coaching and instructional design. Throughout his career, Brett has discovered essential keys to relieve stress physically, mentally and emotionally. His passion is to help people release accumulated stress and share effective tools for relaxation and aftercare.

Brett facilitates Stress Is Gone Classes in corporations, schools, hospitals, and nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, Stress Coaching Association, PSI CHI International Honor Society in Psychology, and has a Bachelors in Psychology. He has received training from the Himalayan Institute and a Shaolin Grand Master. His approach is a blend of Eastern and Western philosophies.
